Biography of the stone tools_collection from District Museum in Nysa

The file includes data on typology, location, morphometric and raw-material characteristics, descriptions of technological and use-wear traces, as well as traces of modern recycling, and photographic and drawing documentation of the Neolithic artefacts (mainle edge tools, like axes, shaft-hole axes) from the Linear Pottery culture (LBK), younger Danubian cultures (Lengyel, Jordanów cultures), Funnel Beaker culture and Corded Ware culture. The archaeological collection is held at the District Museum in Nysa, Poland. The collected data were used to study the biographies of Neolithic stone tools, their use-life, and the technological skills of Neolithic craftsmen, based on use-wear, technological, and raw-material analyses.
