Nuclear resonant inelastic X-ray scattering spectra of δ-(Al,Fe)OOH at high pressures

This record contains supplementary data to the article "Linking the spin transition of ferric iron in δ-(Al,Fe)OOH to water storage in the lower mantle" by Buchen et al. (2025). Please see Buchen et al. (2025) for further information on data acquisition and reduction. The data set provides nuclear resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (NRIXS) spectra of 57Fe atoms in δ-(Al,Fe)OOH recorded at high pressures and room temperature together with the projected partial phonon densities of states (p3DOS) derived from the NRIXS spectra. Each NRIXS spectrum is deposited as a dat-file with three columns: 1st column = energy in millielectronvolt (meV); 2nd column = intensity in counts; 3rd column = uncertainty on intensity in counts. Each p3DOS is deposited as a dat-file with three columns: 1st column = energy in millielectronvolt (meV); 2nd column = p3DOS in reciprocal electronvolt (1/eV); 3rd column = uncertainty on p3DOS in reciprocal electronvolt (1/eV). The folder d-AlFeOOH_57Fe-NRIXS contains the NRIXS spectra. The folder d-AlFeOOH_57Fe-p3DOS contains the p3DOS.
