资源简介:
Rice is a vital staple food that is susceptible to various diseases and pests throughout its growth stages. The white-backed planthopper, Sogatella furcifera , is a significant rice pest that not only damages rice by sucking its juice but also transmits rice viruses, including the Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus. In some cases, the losses caused by vector-borne viruses are more severe than the damage caused by the pests themselves. The feeding behavior of insect vectors on infected or non-infected plants can affect the virus's spread and prevalence. Interfering with the vector insect's feeding behavior can offer a new technical approach to block plant viruses. In this study, Sogatella furcifera was chosen as the research object, and their selection behavior on SRBSDV-infected rice plants was analyzed. Additionally, the influence of rice volatile substances on Sogatella furcifera's behavior was studied, and the change in the feeding behavior of Metarhizium anisopliae and its regulatory mechanism were explored.
