NODC Accession 0132080 includes physical and underway data collected aboard the NEW HORIZON during cruise NH1208 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2012-08-09 to 2012-09-18. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U) and CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V). The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Gareth Lawson of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of Horizontal and Vertical Distribution of Thecosome Pteropods in Relation to Carbonate Chemistry in the Northwest Atlantic and Northeast Pacific. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NODC as part of the NSF sponsored Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.
