Five different soil were sampling in triplicates (in Normandy, France). From two of them, microcosms artificially contaminated with phenanthrene were also conducted during different incubation time. Some microcosms were contaminated with 13C phenanthrene in order to identify phenanthrene degrading bacteria (DNA-SIP). Total DNA from the soil samples were extracted and 16S rDNA gene were sequencing (GS FLX 454).
