Genomic Characterization of Alphacoronavirus from Mops condylurus bats, Nigeria. Mops condylurus alphacoronavirus

In this study, we identified and characterized bat alphacoronaviruses (AlpahCoVs) from Mops condylurus bats in Nigeria as well as provide further insight into the diversity and intricate evolutionary history of AlphaCoVs from bat species in the family Molossidae. This is critical for understanding the cross-species transmission and evolutionary trends of AlphaCoVs.
