Background. Prenatal nicotine exposure (PNE) has been shown to significantly impact fetal development, leading to various pathologies in adulthood, including those affecting the digestive system. Despite considerable attention from the scientific community on the health effects of nicotine consumption, the epigenetic effects of nicotine on the colon remain poorly understood. Objective, in this study, we analyzed the epigenetic effects of nicotine on the proximal colon.

研究背景:产前尼古丁暴露(Prenatal nicotine exposure, PNE)现已被证实可显著干扰胎儿发育,并会在子代成年阶段诱发多种病理状态,其中涵盖消化系统相关病变。尽管科学界已针对尼古丁摄入的健康效应展开了广泛研究与关注,但尼古丁对结肠的表观遗传效应(epigenetic effect)仍有待深入探明,相关认知尚较为匮乏。 研究目的:本研究旨在分析尼古丁对近端结肠的表观遗传效应。
