资源简介:
DENV1-4, a member of Flavivirus genus of Flaviviridae family, are of global threat causing high morbidity, accompanied with increased mortality in untreated patients. Secondary infections with different serotypes are not immunologically protected and increase disease severity due to antibody-dependent enhancement, which also hampered development of an efficient vaccine. Recently, it was discovered that the Infection of vector mosquitoes with Wolbachia bacteria provides a novel strategy to suppress DENV transmission. In this study, the effects of Wolbachia on the viral replication and the host mosquito transcriptomes were analyzed. It was revealed that either strain wAu or wMelPop blocked DENV-induced transcriptome alteration, lowering the viral replication and infectivity.
