资源简介:

We release the full experimental dataset associated with the manuscript: “Sensitivity of snow viscoplasticity to temperature: evidence from controlled creep experiments.” This repository contains the raw and processed measurements from controlled creep experiments performed on snow samples under varying thermal conditions. Repository content: 1. Measurements. The repository includes five CSV files, named: 'data_{sample_name}.csv'. Each file corresponds to one independent experiment performed on a given sample. All files share the same column structure and formatting. Each CSV file contains the following columns: Time (s). Elapsed time since the start of the experiment. Sample height (mm). Instantaneous sample height measured during creep deformation. Imposed load (kPa). Target load. Measured load (kPa). Load recorded by the force sensor. A Gaussian kernel smoothing with σ = 1000 s was used. Imposed temperature (°C). Temperature prescribed during the experiment. Measured temperature (°C). Recorded temperature. Since temperature acquisition differs from the mechanical acquisition rate, these data were interpolated onto the time vector. Temperature prefactor from laser (/s). Temperature-dependent prefactor derived from laser measurements. The derivation uses a Gaussian kernel smoothing with σ = 1000 s. Temperature prefactor from tomo (/s). Temperature prefactor derived from tomographic measurements. The associated timestamp corresponds to the midpoint between two consecutive scans, values at all other time steps are set to NaN. Additional notes All time series are synchronized on the acquisition time of the load cell and the laser.Missing values are encoded as NaN.Units are specified in each column header. 2. Videos. A GIF showing all compression tests obtained using X-ray microtomography.
