Characterization of a strain-specific Cd1 reference genome reveals potential inter- and intra-strain functional variability Overall design: Mice were housed in standard cages on a 12: 12 h light:dark cycle and given ad lib access to food and water. Healthy 8-week old CD-1 mice (Charles River Labs) were used. Gestating females (F0) were administered daily intraperitoneal injections of Bisphenol A (Sigma 239658, 50 mg/kg) or sesame oil (Sigma S3547) to prevent irritation at the injection site. Injections were performed from embryonic day 7.5 through 13.5. No sibling breeding was used to avoid inbreeding artifacts.
