A dataset of carbon and water fluxes of the grassland ecosystem at Xilinhot site (2011, 2013-2015, 2017-2020)

This dataset contains flux observation data for the grassland ecosystem in Xilinhot, covering the years 2011, 2013-2015, and 2017-2020. The raw observation data were collected at the Xilinhot flux observation site in the National Field Station for Grassland Ecosystem in Xilingol, Inner Mongolia. The vegetation type belongs to typical semiarid steppes. Based on the ChinaFLUX data processing specifications, the raw observation data were processed to produce this standardized dataset of ecosystem carbon and water fluxes and key meteorological elements. In the dataset, the data for each year includes 8 Excel data files, divided into two categories: LITE, which includes major fluxes and meteorological variables, and ALL, which adds data quality and interpolation indicators on the basis of LITE. Each category has four data files, including data files at four scales: half-hour (HH), day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY).
