Are δ11B values a reliable proxy for palaeo-seawater pH? A critical approach (Research Project Design-Winter, 2021)

This proposal within the DFG format (DFG form 53.01 – 11/20) designs and appeal for grant for research on the application of δ11B signatures from extinct cephalopods in Buttenheim clay pit (Bamberg, North Bavaria) to assess the ocean acidification during the Pliensbachian–Toarcian (Early Jurassic) extinction phase. This work had been carried out in WS20/21 Research Project Design Module.
