VPRS 2354 Court Of Petty Sessions Fee, Fine And Forfeiture Book

This series consists of a standard volume used for recording the receipt of fees by the Court.For the receipt of fees, a double page was allocated for each month of the year. The day of the month of the payment was recorded as was the name of the person making that payment. Columns of the volume allowed the type of payment to be recorded. These types of payments included types of summons, the serving of documents, recognizances, orders, declarations, dog registration payments and payments for a variety of licences.The Fines Book was a standard volume used for recording the payment of fines imposed by the Court. Details to be completed were the date of payment, the name of the person making the payment, the offence for which the person had been fined, the Act under which the fine had been imposed and the details of the payments made.Subject to further research
