Aged woodchips from an on-site wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) was transported to lab and experienced intermittent lab conditions and ambient conditions. Experimental treatments were characterized by 16S gene amplicon high throughput sequencing (2x300bp Illumina). Samples were collected in September and November 2018, March and April 2019. Samples include whole woodchips and individual sides of woodchips from the beginning and end of experimental treatments.
