资源简介:
Individuals with obesity, secondary to chronic inflammation, exhibit immune dysfunction and impaired wound healing. However, whether immune dysfunction and impaired wound healing with obesity are mitigated by regular physical activity remains unclear. The objective of this study was to examine differences in wound healing and immune biomarkers in physically active participants without obesity (BMI≤25: body mass index 18.5-25kg/m2 and percent body fat [BF%] ≤20% [males] and ≤30% [females]) and with obesity (BMI>30kg/m2: BMI>30kg/m2 and BF >20% [males] and >30% [females]). This table shows the concentrations of salivary cytokines.
