SP2-XR Surface Measured Surface Concentrations and NAAPs-RA modeled surface aerosol concentrations. Refractory black carbon (rBC) near-surface boundary layer aerosol measurements were measured and characterized using an Extended Range Single Particle Soot Photometer (SP2-XR) at the Thule High Arctic Atmospheric Observatory in northwest Greenland from June to September 2024. These real-time particle measurements are paired with the Navy Aerosol Analysis and Prediction System Reanalysis of daily surface smoke concentrations and local meteorology, we partitioned aerosol transport into local, long-range, and mixed source regimes.
