Dîwân-i-Żuhûrî (ديوان ظهورى).

A collection of Żuhûrî’s lyrical poems, which, however, consists of tarkîbbands, tarjî’s, and ḳaṣîdas only, in four distinct sections, viz.:

1.On fol. 1b, beginning as in the preceding copy: اى نام تو بر سر زبانها الخ.

2.On fol. 116b, beginning:

فصل ريحان و ياسمين آمد – مغز ايّام نافه چین آمد

Corresponding to fol. 202b in No. 1500.

3. On fol. 175b, beginning:

معلّم نَشْأه توفيق وقعر دل دبستانش

مسائل اتّحاد حسن عشق و وصل برهانش

4.On fol. 261b, beginning:

ايّام مأتمست بمأتمسرا نشين

روز خداى آمده از خود جدا نشين

This last section or series contains exclusively tarkîbbands.

Collated. On fol. 1a there is given as date of this copy the 1st of Rabî’-althânî, A.H. 1071 (third year of ‘Âlamgîr’s reign) = A.D. 1660, Dec. 4. It belonged formerly to Mr. Richard Johnson.
