资源简介:
We hereby submit our manuscript entitled “Systematisation of Behavioural Design Strategies to Prevent Rebound Effects: A Systematic Literature Review”, authored by Lukas McKay, Tim McAloone, and Daniela Pigosso, for consideration in the special issue Mainstreaming Sustainable Consumption. This study addresses the persistent challenge of rebound effects (RE) in sustainable consumption and explores options from a behavioural perspective to prevent this issue. While most approaches have focused on mitigating RE after they occur, our study advances an ex-ante, preventive perspective by identifying and systematising behavioural design strategies that anticipate and avoid RE. The manuscript contributes to the mainstreaming of sustainable consumption by providing: A consolidation of behavioural design strategies that can proactively prevent RE and support sustainable behaviours. A multi-dimensional cross-criteria framework linking strategies to design levels, behavioural triggers, and systemic leverage points, enabling practitioners to select strategies suited to their context. Insight into how behavioural design can address both individual actions and social structures to reduce negative consequences of sustainability interventions.
