The Versailles-FP dataset was developed by the ETIS Laboratory of France, comprising 500 ground-truth images of the Palace of Versailles spanning the 17th to 18th centuries. This dataset is primarily used for wall detection in floor plans of ancient architectural structures. Wall masks are automatically generated via multi-directional tunable filters, followed by manual verification and correction. Its application areas include 3D modeling and analysis of historical buildings, aiming to reproduce and understand the historical states of ancient architectures through technical means.
