When the buds are mature, large amount of pollens would be released, resulting in contaminating the petals and reducing the value of the commodity. Therefore, being able to effectively control the dehiscence of lily anthers becomes the key to improving the quality of lilies. Molecular researches on the development of lily anthers have gradually increased in recent years.
