Data from the Swedish Wave Programme, 1978 - present

Initially, the measurements were started to estimate the energy content in the waves. At present the measurements are used for comparison with and validation of the wave model HYPNE, (Nested HYPAS-model - different gridsizes). The wave program is part of the Baltic cooperation of waves; Baltic Operational Oceanographic System (BOOS). Swedish Wave Energy Programme (1978-1985).
