By collecting data such as patent applicants, legal statuses, technical subject classifications, and the number of simple family members in the polishing machine field, this dataset primarily includes invention patents and utility model patents related to "polishing machine" from the global patent database. After filtering the keyword "polishing machine" from the results to identify patent data in the polishing machine domain, the patent data was evaluated and classified using a proprietary algorithm. This dataset can be used to track changes in polishing machine-related patent data, facilitating an understanding of the outcomes of intellectual property work in the polishing machine field; by comparing the polishing machine-related patent data of various enterprises/individuals, it is possible to understand the technological innovation capabilities and differences in innovation levels of each enterprise/individual, as well as grasp the technological development trends of polishing machines, which helps enterprises avoid redundant R&D and the risk of infringing others' intellectual property rights with their developed technologies. 1. Data Source: Invention patents and utility model patents related to "polishing machine" from the global patent database. 2. Data Collection: The target layer of this dataset is patent technology relevance. The indicator layer divides the patent technology relevance index system into five value dimensions: market, technology, law, strategy, and economy. Patents related to "polishing machine" were retrieved, and the indicator layer is further subdivided into the criterion layer, which includes: - Technical Value: Number of IPC classifications, number of cited patents; - Economic Value: Number of pledge times; - Legal Value: Number of claims, number of document pages; - Strategic Value: Number of inventors, number of simple family members; - Market Value: Number of technical subject classifications, whether it belongs to strategic emerging industries. 3. Data Analysis: This dataset is based on the AHP hierarchy method, adopting a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The technical relevance is divided into three levels from high to low (A, B, C), where A represents high relevance, B represents general relevance, and C represents relatively low relevance. The comprehensive scoring method is applied as follows: - Category A: Strategic value ≥ 50 points, economic value ≥ 20 points, market value ≥ 50 points, legal value ≥ 60 points, and technical value ≥ 30 points; - Category B: Strategic value ranging from 40 to 50 points (excluding 50 points), economic value ≥ 20 points, market value ≥ 30 points, legal value ≥ 70 points, and technical value ≥ 30 points; - Category C: All remaining cases. 4. Data Application: Provide R&D decision-making basis and priority reference for technical avoidance for technical personnel in the polishing machine field.
