To identify novel endoglucanases and beta glucosidase gene(s) from extreme halophiles of Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan a fosmid library of ~40000 clones was prepared. Selected positive clones were sequenced either by sub-cloning (EG14) followed by end sequencing using primer walking approach (EG14); or direct sequencing of fosmid DNA (EG3, EG35, EG78, and BG1) on NGS platform (ION S5).
