资源简介:
Microbes inhabit all plant tissues and are crucial for plant growth and health. Yellow mosaic disease, a soil-borne viral infection that causes new leaves to yellow and develop streak mosaics, has led to significant crop yield losses. However, the impact of this disease on the dynamics of wheat microbiomes and the extent of variety-specific, severity-associated microbial changes remains poorly understood. Here, we used this viral disease as the model and investigated how it reshapes microbial communities in resistant and susceptible varieties (x4) in field conditions, by analyzing wheat microbiome assembly, co-occurrence network patterns and potential functions across different plant stages (x3) and compartments (x4) with and without infections.
