MirGeneDB

MirGeneDB is established to catalog the repertoire of miRNAs, which complements the efforts of miRBase but differs from it by annotating the mature versus star products and by imposing an evolutionary hierarchy upon this curated and consistently named repertoire. The database present a uniform system for the annotation and nomenclature of miRNA genes.MirGeneDB数据库旨在收录微小RNA（microRNA，简称miRNA）的全套序列，其工作与miRBase数据库形成互补，但二者存在核心差异：MirGeneDB会对miRNA的成熟链与星号链产物分别进行注释，同时为这套经人工整理且命名统一的序列库构建进化层级体系。该数据库为miRNA基因的注释与命名提供了统一规范的体系。
