Mexico: number of people lagging behind in education 2014-2018, by gender

In Mexico, more women than men were considered socially vulnerable for lagging behind in education. In 2018, it was estimated that nearly 11.2 million women in Mexico lagged behind in education and were therefore regarded as vulnerable population, whereas the number of men in that same situation amounted to 9.9 million.
