In late September, 2019 a cyanobacterial bloom was observed in the lower reaches of the Thames River, a 273 km priority tributary of the Lake Erie watershed, as identified in Annex 4 of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. The river flows into Lake St. Clair in southwestern Ontario with land use in the watershed dominated by row crop agriculture. This dataset includes biological and physico-chemical data acquired while sampling before, and during the bloom.
