COX_Statistical-scaling-datasets

This repository contains the simulated and pre-processed datasets used in the research manuscript titled PERCEPT: Replacing binary p-value thresholding with scaling for more nuanced identification of sample differences. The details for any previously-published datasets used in this work are available via the Key Resources Table. Please refer to the manuscript for complete reference information. Datasets The datasets are provided in three broad categories: - Dataset 1: simulated-data: Contains simulated image arrays and datasets for penalty factor optimisation. - Dataset 2: omics: Contains pre-processed datasets for each of the six Omics studies analysed. - Dataset 3: biomarkers: Contains individual datapoints extracted from each publication using an image digitisation tool. Please refer to the manuscript for detailed information about the data generation and preprocessing steps. These datasets enable reproduction of the results presented in the manuscript via the corresponding code repository.
