De novo Assembly of the Channa argus Transcriptome to identify the immune gene and SSR makers

The head kidney tissues sample at 72 h after infection with Aeromonas hydrophila or 0.9% NaCl were immediately snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80? until further use. The experimental analysis was expected to completely reveal sequence information, especially the important immune genes of challenged Aeromonas hydrophila, which could be valuable to study Channa argus immunogenetics and enhance channa argus resistance to microorganisms.
