Onset of taste cell renewal starts at birth and coincides with a shift in SHH function

RNAseq was employed to profile taste progenitors (SOX2-GFPhigh) and non-taste epithelial progenitors (SOX2-GFPlow) at the onset of taste cell renewal at birth. This dataset was acquired via FACS of SOX2-GFP+ epithelial cells from SOX2gfp/+ mouse pups at P0. P0 SOX2GFP cells were isolated from pooled lingual epithelium and separated by FACS. Two populations (GFP-high, GFP-low) were collected for RNA extraction and sequencing.本研究采用RNA测序（RNAseq）技术，在新生小鼠出生时味觉细胞更新启动阶段，对味觉祖细胞（SOX2-GFP高表达组，SOX2-GFPhigh）与非味觉上皮祖细胞（SOX2-GFP低表达组，SOX2-GFPlow）开展转录组谱分析。本数据集的获取流程如下：从出生后第0天（P0）的SOX2gfp/+转基因小鼠幼崽的混合舌上皮组织中分离得到SOX2-GFP阳性细胞，通过荧光激活细胞分选（FACS）将其分为GFP高表达组与GFP低表达组两个细胞群，随后收集这两组细胞用于RNA提取及测序。
