This article examines the features of youth slang and jargon as dynamic linguistic phenomena reflecting contemporary social processes. The study analyzes the main functions of slang, the sources of its formation, and the influence of globalization, digital technologies, and mass culture on the language of young people. Particular attention is paid to the role of slang in the formation of identity, the expression of emotions, and the reflection of social values.
