Yeast mutants that allow long-distance transcriptional activation

In this study we isolated polygenic mutants that allow activation of a reporter in which the GAL1 UAS is 799 bp from the HIS3 TATA and open reading frame本研究中，我们成功分离得到可激活该报告基因的多基因突变体；该报告基因的GAL1上游激活序列（GAL1 upstream activating sequence, UAS）与HIS3的TATA盒及开放阅读框（open reading frame, ORF）之间的间距为799 bp。
