MeetUp!

The MeetUp! dataset was developed by a research team at Bielefeld University and contains 430 dialogue records. It is collected through a two-player coordination game also titled MeetUp!, where players must move and locate one another in a visual environment, and describe their perceived surroundings via dialogue to achieve mutual understanding. The creation of this dataset entailed deploying the game on the Amazon Mechanical Turk platform and gathering dialogues through chat tools. This dataset is primarily intended for research on vision-language integration, particularly in the domains of natural language processing and artificial intelligence, to examine how dialogue facilitates the exchange and comprehension of visual information.
