Share of standing passengers in London (UK) trains 2019-2020

In 2019, TfL Rail was the busiest operator in London, with 44 percent of passengers having to stand in the morning peak time and 37 percent in the evening peak time. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, almost all the train operators reported a cero percent of passengers standing during peak hours in 2020. Only the London Overground reported a light peak crowding during that year, with two percent of passengers having to stand in the morning peak hours and one percent in the evening peak time.
