Short term rainfall manipulation study

We ran a 13-week rainfall manipulation in a hardwood forest in New York with four treatments (n = 4 each): ambient control (CN), double rain (DR), rain exclusion (NR), and a “climate change” treatment (CC). The CC treatment received the same total water as the control but delivered every two weeks. Within each plot we compared subplots with and without salamander-deterrent fencing. The dataset includes meta-data, soil moisture, litter decomposition, salamander abundance, soil carbon and nitrogen, field measured CO2 emissions, and laboraotry incubations of N2O and N2 emissions.
