This code list was generated by taking all descendants from the SCDF drug level for propofol (intravenous), etomidate (intravenous), ketamine (intravenous), midazolam (Intravenous), fentanyl (Intravenous), nitrous oxide (inhaled), sevoflurane (inhaled), desflurane (inhaled), isoflurane (inhaled). The codeset was reviewed by the PRESERVE BPZ workgroup led by Mark Mitsnefes. This codeset was created as part of the inclusion/exclusion criteria for the cohort of patients for the development and evaluation of EHR-based pediatric blood pressure Z-scores. One of the exclusion criteria was any BP measurements 30 days before or after administration of general anesthesia. It is limited to RxNorm and RxNorm Extension codes.
