Temperature and pressure from a deep mooring in Sermilik Fjord from August 2011 to September 2012

Temperature and pressure data from a SeaBird Microcat deployed at ~860 meters (m) in Sermilik Fjord from August 2011 to September 2012. The Microcat (SN 5926) was deployed in one of the deepest sections of the fjord. The Microcat sampled every 7.5 minutes. It did not return reliable conductivity data, likely because the sensor was quickly fouled with silt. These data were collected as part of a long-term project to monitor Sermilik Fjord to determine what water masses flow into the fjord; in particular, if warm, Atlantic water from the Irminger Sea is able to penetrate into the fjord. Observations have been collected in the fjord since 2008.
