Model and Data: Evidence for the Presence of Thin Dust Deposits on Ryugu’s Boulders from Hayabusa2 MARA and Sample Data

This repository contains the mid-infrared spectrum of sample C0137 returned from asteroid (162173) Ryugu by Hayabusa2. The repository furthermore contains spectra from CI1 chondrites Orgeuil and Alais, as well as in-situ observations from the MARA instrument as well as code to compare the spectra. The repository also contains a thermophysical model to model the influence of a dustlayer on the diurnal surface temperature variation of Ryugu's surface within MARA's field of view and code to fit the model results to the MARA observations to optain estimates of the thickness of a potential dustlayer. <br> The data and model are presented in a study, that is currently under peer-review. Details will follow upon acceptance of the study.
