We present a statistical analysis of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) discontinuity normals across solar cycle 23 and 24 for different solar wind types. Using ACE observations, We determine phase front normals by employing both the Minimum variance analysis (MVA) and Cross-product methods. The discontinuity normals in GSE coordinates are estimated from ACE data collected during solar cycle 24 (2008–2018). We categorize the data into four solar wind types: Coronal Mass Ejections-Magnetic Ejecta (CME-ME), CME Sheath (CME-SH), Stream Interaction Regions (SIR), and Non-CME/Non-SIR, covering both solar maximum (2001–2002) and solar minimum (2008–2009). The discontinuity normals for each solar wind type are listed.
