We thus developed human respiratory epithelial infection models and animal infectoin models to examine the disease progress and understand the mechanism of streptococcus agalactiae respiratory tract infection using four different serotypes of streptococcus agalactiae. Differentiated airway epitheliums and mice were infected by GBS, and the innate immune responses of host were activated.
