Labor force participation and total factor productivity

This dataset contains a country panel that has IMF capital stocks (separated into infrastructure and non-infrastructure) and data on GDP, labor force, education, and demographics. From these, it is possible to derived total factor productivity levels for country-year and perform further analysis. The key for the research is to test if TFP differences between economies can be accounted for by male-female labor force participation gaps.

As an alternative comparison, a heuristic TFP series created using Penn World is appended. This can be used as robustness checks.
