Steatotic Liver Disease in Older Adults: Prevalence, Associations, Assessment and Outcomes

Steatotic (fatty) liver disease is common in the community, but its impact on older Australians is understudied. This thesis evaluates the intersection between steatotic liver disease and ageing in terms of its prevalence, impacts on physical and cognitive function, relationship with cardiovascular disease and mortality, and methods for assessment and risk stratification.
