Dataset for climate change, economy, environment and health per state for a South Asia country covering period 2010 to 2021

Dataset obtained from public on-line resources for 28 states of India covering period 2010 to 2021 and containing the yearly maximum temperature, yearly maximum precipitation, yearly minimum Standardised Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) obtained from agriculture per year, the farming gross irrigation area per year, the credits given to farmers per year, the number of farmers (i.e. year 2011) and a health outcome of farmer population.  

The 28 states are Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tamilnadu, Chhattishgarh, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi.

(The SPEI index was taken from publication Chupal, D.S., Kushwaha, A.P., Aadhar, S., Mishra, V., “Drought Atlas of India, 1901-2020”, Scientific Data, 11(7), 2024, and it was calculated the min, max and mean values per year and per each Indian state.)
