资源简介:
The diversity of tissues arises from complex processes, linking to human development and disease. One such process is N(6)-methyladenosine (m(6)A), which is widespread and has been implicated in many critical biological processes. However, the dynamic distribution, function, and regulation of m(6)A across diverse human tissues remain largely unresolved. Here we report 21 whole-transcriptome m(6)A methylomes across eight major fetal tissues using m(6)A-sequencing. Our data reveal a large fraction of novel m(6)As related to tissue-specific processes as well as a large number of novel long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) m(6)As, which display a unique consensus motif and distribution pattern distinct from sites on mRNA. Overall design: Examination of m(6)A modifications in eight fetal tissues.
