Topics: Marital status; living in a partnership; frequency of political topics of conversation in the partnership; frequency of different opinions on political topics of conversation in the partnership; presumed voting behaviour of the partner; type of relationship with the person outside the partnership with whom politics is most frequently discussed (relative, neighbour, work colleague, friend, other person); frequency of political topics of conversation with this person; Frequency of different opinions on political topics of conversation with this person; presumed voting behaviour of this person in the last election; other person outside the partnership with whom politics is discussed; type of relationship with this other person; frequency of political topics of conversation with this other person; frequency of different opinions on political topics of conversation with this other person; presumed voting behaviour of this other person in the last election; political internet use: Type of internet use as a source of information on politics (read political content, like/share political content on social networks, write comments on political topics on social networks, use the internet but not for politics, do not use the internet at all); party preference (Sunday question); party of second preference in an election resp. no other party imaginable; voting behaviour in the last five years (second vote).
Demography: sex; age; school education; occupation; household size; number of persons older than 14 years in the household; net household income; internet use (professional, private, both professional and private, no internet use); eligibility to vote; party preference; party preference in the last election (recall question).
Additionally coded were: Respondent ID; weight; interview date; city size (BIK); federal state; west/east; mobile vs. landline.
