Genome sequencing of novel tatenale orthohantavirus (TATV).

Hantaviruses are members of the orthohantavirus family and are of interest in the UK due to the discovery of a novel hantavirus in the North of England named tatenale virus (TATV). Two lung and one kidney sample were sequenced using an illumina MiSeq and the genome segments assembled using a combination of reference guided alignments, de novo assemblies and PCR.
