The goal of this project is to determine the critical genes and pathways regulated by MKL1 in bone marrow differentiated macrophages in mice. Overall design: We isolated bone marrow cells from Mkl1+/+, Apoe-/- and Mkl1-/-, Apoe-/- male mice (6 months old) challenged with Ang II for 7 days. We then differentiated these cells for 7 days before total RNA was isolated for RNA-seq analysis. Two batchs of samples were included in the assay. First batch of samples were sample 1,2,5,6; second batch of samples were 3,4,7,8. We do comparision seprately for each batch.
