Teak wood is a valuable wood species. Information on the chemical elements of wood after applying the pinning method during the wood formation period is still very limited. The pinning method is very helpful for monitoring wood formation in tree trunks. Chemical elements in plant cells and tissues are believed to be very helpful in the growth and formation of wood. Using SEM-EDS technology, the chemical elements of wood in the teak wood formation area can be identified. The results showed that the elements detected were carbon (54.85%), oxygen (43.80%), calcium (0.44%), magnesium (0.32%), potassium (0.31%), and silicon (0.28%).
