Dataset: Forest structure inventory data for old growth, natural mangroves in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, PELD ES study site, (SE Brazil)

This dataset contains forest structure inventory data including diameter at breast height (DBH) and porewater salinity from mangroves in the Piraquê-Açu-Mirim estuary, Espírito Santo, Brazil, monitored by the PELD (LTER) site. This data was collected in 2017 and 2022 in similar areas from random transects (not permanent plots) and was used to assess mangrove ecosystem carbon losses from a climate impact in the region.
