Establishing a COVID-19 Lemmatized Word List for Journalists and ESP Learners

In this dataset, we used an 18,249,093-word corpus to build a lemmatized academic word list (AWL) that is derived from covid-19 pandemic-related articles published in News Rx from January 1 - October 31, 2020. We classified the most frequent 550 words into six categories: 1- acronyms and abbreviations (see Excel sheet 2) 2- diseases (see Excel sheet 3) 3- COVID-19 (see Excel sheet 4) 4- biology (see Excel sheet 5) 5- medicine (see Excel sheet 6) 6- and scientific disciplines (see Excel sheet 7)
